Get ready, history buffs! The Newton County Historical Society is thrilled to announce our annual History Alley event, returning on Saturday, October 4, 2025, as a proud part of the City of Neosho's fantastic Fall Festival!

History Alley is our chance to bring the past to life and we're looking for passionate individuals and organizations to help us make this year's event the most memorable yet. If you have a story to tell, a skill to share, or a piece of history to showcase, we want you!

We're currently seeking participants in a variety of categories, including:

• Exhibitors: Do you have a collection of historical artifacts, photographs, or memorabilia? Set up a display and share your knowledge with our community.

• Demonstrators: Can you demonstrate a traditional craft, skill, or trade from the past? Show attendees how things were made or done in yesteryear.

• Historical Reenactors: Bring historical figures or periods to life through authentic costumes and engaging portrayals.

• Performers: Do you have a historical musical act, storytelling performance, or theatrical piece? We'd love to see it!

• Presenters: Are you an expert on a specific historical topic? Share your insights through a fascinating presentation.

• Partner Organizations: Historical societies, museums, heritage groups, or educational institutions – let's collaborate to showcase the rich history of our region.

History Alley is a wonderful opportunity to engage with the community, share your passion for history, and be a part of Neosho's beloved Fall Festival. Whether you're an individual enthusiast or part of an organization, we encourage you to participate!
